I recommend Don's Ponds to anyone who would like to add a water
feature to their home. Don Stewart is extremely friendly and
knowledgeable and really listens to customers. I had some ideas
of what I envisioned for my disappearing waterfall and he turned
those into reality, suggesting also to incorporate a small
stream which we had not at first considered.
He arranged to let us view some of the water features he had
put in for other customers and this helped us greatly in our
planning and confirmed the quality of his work. During the
installation, a huge 300-400 pound granite rock was found buried
two feet down, right in the spot where we had planned for the
lower reservoir to go. Rather than try to work around it or
redesign the position of the stream and reservoir, Don knew the
best thing was to figure out a way to get it out. With a lot of
patient digging and help from some workers down the road to pull
it out when the time came, he and his team managed the feat of
getting it out by hand. "Big Bertha" now proudly sits alongside
the waterfall, a perfect spot to sit on to admire the falls. The
finished waterfall and stream looks amazing and I know we will
enjoy it for many years to come. We made the right choice in
choosing Don's Ponds. Thanks for everything Don!

Thanks to Don’s wise, professional
and friendly advice, we have a lovely pond and
meandering stream in our backyard. Don guided us from the very
important initial
placement planning and digging, right through to what kinds of
fish and plants we
could use in the pond. We are extremely pleased with the results
and would highly
recommend Don’s services to anyone contemplating this
pleasurable pond adventure. We
love our pond.

Hi Don,
We were so happy to have found you at the garden center seminar
as our project was much too large for us to work on alone (not
having a clue what we were doing would have made things very
interesting also)
We never "shopped around" before making our decision to retain
you for our project because the first time you came to our home
to discuss our ideas, you were so funny, friendly and interested
in our plan, I thought we got along wonderfully.
You took a great deal of time to perfect our "vision" before we
started the project so that the final views would be perfect
(which I think you would proudly agree they are).
Since the day "Marty's Mountain" was erected and "Felder's
Falls" spilled its first splash of water our confidence in your
know how was confirmed (not that it was ever doubted) It was
amazing to see the whole thing come together.
Over all, we can't believe the amount of work and man power
it took to complete the job and everything ran pretty smoothly
from start to finish. I know we will enjoy our water feature for
many many years, I can't wait to see it grow and change over
time.
Thank you so much once again for the great job and hope you will
visit often to enjoy your work as much as we will.
Sincerely;
Marty and Rob Felder
P.S. Don....please feel free to use any part of this note as
testimonial and feel free to use our name as a referral in the
future. |

Last year my mother who was living with me and my daughter,
decided that we should have a pond put in the backyard. We went
to an in-service about ponds, and when we discovered how much,
and how hard the work was we started to look for someone to
install it for us. Don Stewart came very highly recommended to
us. We called him and he came over the next night. Mom and I
were so impressed with his knowledge and his book of pictures of
his work. We hired him immediately and have never been sorry for
our decision.
I explained to Don that my mom had a terminal illness and we
were not sure how long she would be with us. He started work as
soon as the ground was soft enough, and included mom in all the
decisions for the pond. This is her pond, from the waterfall,
the shape, the water plants, and 90% of the plants around the
pond. Mom was so thrilled with the final project. She cried with
happiness when she saw it finished. If I couldn't find her in
the house, she was out back sitting there watching and enjoying
her pond.
Mom was only able to enjoy her pond for 10 days, and then
ended up in hospital, and died shortly after. The joy, happiness
and contentment she received from this gorgeous pond and flowers
will always remain in my heart.
I truly feel that the best pond maker in the world is Don
Stewart. He has great fellows working for him. He knows his
business, and explains everything to your satisfaction. He is a
wonderful and knowledgeable person to turn to with any questions
about your pond. He with mom created a living memorial to my
mom, and I will be truly grateful for the rest of my life for
his caring and the work he did to make my mom's last weeks so
enjoyable.

Dear Don,
Thanks again for the great job!
The waterfall looks great it is really neat; the rock at the
bottom of the falls causes the flow over the edge to change by
its self! So everyday, r every couple of days I have a different
look to the “drop” over the edge. I have had very nice
compliments & will highly recommend you to anyone interested in
doing a waterfall.
